Ultra Lite is a Canadian manufacturer building roll shutters, roller doors and zip screens on Heroal profiles, the German system house that originated the roll-formed slat, with Somfy motors and controls. The curtains are fabricated here in Canada.
The range runs from a foam-cored shading shutter through to a resin-cored, wind-locked curtain rated against forced entry. Which one an opening needs depends on what it has to resist: sun, noise, weather, or somebody trying to get through it. Rivett measures, fits and services all of it.

Visual deterrent through moderate physical attack
We measure the opening ourselves, fit the shutter with our own crew and handle the service calls afterwards. One company for the whole opening: the door, the shutter in front of it, and the people who keep both working.

Roll-formed aluminum slat with an insulated urethane core. A thermal and acoustic barrier that blocks light and deters casual attention, for residential and commercial openings up to 11 ft wide and 10 ft high. Security rating 1: visual deterrent.
Aluminum slat with a thick die-cast resin core, running in HTF Secure guide rails with wind locks that hold the curtain in the track. Rated to security class 3 with end retention, and covering openings up to 14 ft wide and 10.5 ft high. Built for commercial, industrial and institutional work.
A Heroal zip screen fabricated in Canada, tracking in side rails so wind cannot pull the fabric out. Covers openings up to 20 ft wide and 17 ft high, in a 95 mm box under 10 ft square and a 125 mm box above it.
Roller doors for openings that need a door rather than a shutter, and cable screens where a zip track is not practical. Same profiles, same motors, same fabrication.
The range is rated, measured and specified, not picked off a shelf.

Motors, remotes and home-automation integration from Somfy, so the shutter can run on a wall switch, a remote, a timer or the rest of the house system.
On the screens, openness runs from 50 per cent for airflow and insects down to 1 per cent for privacy and solar control, with a blackout option where the opening has to go dark.
We measure the opening, the mounting and the clearances before anything is ordered, because a shutter built to a phone measurement is one that binds.
