Roll Pro Security Shutters

Roll Pro builds aluminum roll shutters and roll-up doors in Ontario: for windows, garages, patios and cabanas, storefront grilles, and the awkward one-offs like boathouses, service counters and bar fronts. Thirty years of building them, with warranties running up to seven years.

It is the most flexible of the three lines we carry, which makes it the one we reach for when an opening does not match anything in a catalogue. Rivett measures it, fits it with our own crew and services it afterwards.

Roll Pro Shutters, Measured and Fitted by Rivett.

We measure the opening ourselves, fit the shutter with our own crew and handle the service calls afterwards. One company for the whole opening, and one number to call when something needs adjusting.

If the opening is an ordinary window or garage, this is straightforward. If it is a boathouse, a laneway, a shed, a bar front or a service counter, it is still straightforward. That is the part of the range Roll Pro is unusually good at.

Why Buy Your Roll Pro Shutters From Rivett

Built down the road, measured on your opening,
and fitted by the crew that comes back if it needs adjusting.

Built In Ontario

Manufactured in Concord rather than imported, which shows up in lead times and in how quickly a replacement part turns up.

Warranties Up To Seven Years

Roll Pro backs the range with warranties running as long as seven years depending on the product. We will tell you which term applies to your configuration at quoting stage.

A Shutter For Awkward Openings

Boathouses, laneways, sheds, bar fronts, service counters, shelving units and cabinets. If it is not a standard window or garage, this is usually the line that has an answer.

Motor Options That Suit The Job

Motors and controls from Alpha, LiftMaster, Somfy and Nice, so the shutter can match whatever else is already running on the property.

Measured On Site, Not Over The Phone

We measure the opening, the mounting and the clearances before anything is ordered, because a shutter built to a phone measurement is one that binds.

Fitted And Serviced By Our Own Crew

No subcontractors. The people who fit it work for Rivett, and handle the repairs, parts and adjustments afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions.

A roll-up door coils into a box above the opening, so nothing runs back along your ceiling. That is the whole argument for it: you keep the ceiling for storage, a car lift, or lighting. A sectional door generally insulates better and comes in far more finishes, so it is usually the better choice on an attached garage you heat. If the garage is detached, a workshop, or ceiling space matters, the roll-up is worth pricing. We sell both, so we have no reason to push you either way.

That is exactly what these are for. The shutter closes the space against wind, rain, snow and debris out of season, and rolls fully into the box above the opening when you want it open. Most people run them motorized on a remote for that reason. A seasonal enclosure that takes effort to open tends to stay shut.

Be clear about what you are buying. A polycarbonate curtain is chosen for weather, wind and debris while keeping the view and the light. It encloses a space rather than hardening it. If the objective is resisting entry, an aluminum curtain is the right product, and we would say so rather than sell you the clear one. On some properties the answer is both, on different openings.

Usually, yes. On an existing building the shutter is normally surface-mounted, with the box sitting above the window on the outside face. A built-in or recessed box is neater but generally belongs to new construction or a window replacement. The site measure decides which is possible on your wall, which is the whole point of doing it before quoting.

Depends on the product and on what is already on the property. Roll Pro works with Alpha, LiftMaster, Somfy and Nice, which covers most of what we would want to integrate with. If you already run LiftMaster openers on the garage, saying so at the measure is worth doing. It may mean one set of controls instead of two.
